Our next design assignment was to create a redesigned ID for SCAD. My mind went a few directions with this. I could've made a My Hero Acadamia themed ID that they show before and after breaks in the show's episodes. I also could've tried to design an ID based on games i enjoy playing, like Overwatch. I eventually settled on paroodying the "Swonson Pyramid of Greatness" from the hit TV show Parks and Rec. I started watching this show last week and have already passed the 60 episode mark, so when this idea came into my head I immediately settled on it. I have included a picture of the "Swonson Pyramid of Greatness" down below.
My next step was to create my own pyramid, the "Naughton Pyramid of Greatness" which is down below
I next had to find the dimensions of the SCAD ID and add my pyramid of greatness into it, including my ID number, the name of my college, and my name. I also had to create a design on the back of my design. I decided to keep it simplistic because there is not a lot going on for the front of the design either.
